I have this weird way of thinking when it comes to welling and superman. i think the 3 different actors are the 3 versions/identities of superman. To me tom welling is clark kent but he isn't superman, and I actually love man of steel but i felt cavill is neither clark or superman but kal-el. And now having watched supergirl I feel Hoechlin. I respected routh's preformance for what he had to do but they gave him nothing to work with so he won't be remembered though I hope they will share a crossover scene :p Never gonna happen but I do wish rosenbaum would return as lex, maybe in a big multiverse story where smallville connects with earth prime (yes cw is live action earth prime not the dceu). That way u could introduce batman without having to use their batman yet, since there are 2 versions that live on cw one on supergirl and one on flarrow. Berlanti is trying to make cw into dctv, they might not pay off right away but berlanti planned to do arrow so he could get to flash before the movies
