Three of the greatest riders are standing on the podium. All three are winners in my book. Thank you to O'Hara and Garcia for representing the Indian Motorcycle company. I'm on my second Indian, which happens to be baggers, a Chieftain Limited. Loved my 2022 Scout, but I needed grandpa comfort for those longer rides.

Indian!!! Make a version of this bike for the street! Taller for more ground clearance, stiffer sportier suspension, all the performance mods for more HP, and pleeease take the fairing off. Would be the ultimate muscle cruiser!!!

All I can say is, modern tires! Yes you can make all the power, have the best suspension and handling, fantastic brakes, but it all come down to the rider and TIRES holding the line! Just think about it, those racing baggers must still weigh at least 500-600 lbs? Getting thrown through corners at that angle and speed!
@Indian_Motorcycle
@Indian_Motorcycle 3 жыл бұрын
Definitley a huge factor, and yes these bikes are in the 600lb range.

Did they remount the pegs on the bagger so it could lean past 28 degree's 👀?
@Indian_Motorcycle

Yes, lean angle is the primary goal of a lot of modifications, including relocation of foot controls.

Not really that big of a deal to do two races in a weekend. I'm sure on his way up in the armature ranks he raced multiple classes, multiple practices. We did the national mx stuff and in Road racing ran sprints all day Saturday and Endurance on Sunday. It is cool seeing someone compete and beat Harley...now, if only these bikes came off the showroom floor with suspension that was remotely close to what they have on the track...C'mon guys, step up and go inverted forks/radial full floating brakes...even the 50cc mx racers have had them since 2003. 8*)

Wake up and get real. I am a big Indian fan but this kind of claim is laughable. What a joke. "King of the baggers" with a population of 2. I could be the king of a lot of things if I only compete against one other of my choice. If Indian is truly serious have the balls to compete against bikes like BMW and Honda or else you will be branded as full of BS like Harley is. This type of promo is something straight out of a Harley BS Playbook. Claimed to be the best or the first to do something from a very narrow and very specific category. By the way I am the very best writer on KZbin comments at 9:30 a.m. Friday Central Time who is wearing shorts and a white shirt in one of the US states that starts with the letter A.

Everybody wants to beat the Harley. The fact remains that in most categories of motorcycle racing or daily use, Harley-Davidson is the standard. All other motorcycle manufacturers measure themselves or are required to measure themselves by that standard. When you read reviews like this, you see plainly that Indian will do all and more that flesh and blood and metal and fibre can, if only it gets them past the Harley. That's it in a gem (or in my fractured, verbose yet inadequate descriptions). In contrast, when Harley-Davidson introduces a new model, she is not compared to Indian or anything Japanese or German. She stands alone. Harley-Davidson has gone further, and become the standard of our motorcycling dreams. In 3rd world countries nobody says "I dream of riding Indian motorcycle". No kid grows up dreaming of riding a Kawasaki or Bajaj or some Chinese piece of badly copied junk. Everybody wants the Davidson. Even His Excellency the twice Governor of California rides Harley-Davidsons in his best movies.

My stunning 2019 Indian Springfield in gray and burgundy and I take copious righteous umbrage to your misguided statement. Cruiser heaven, all day, every day. And yes, since I was 6 years old, I have always wanted an Indian ever since I saw a 50s Chief. Not everyone dreams of Harley. You should demo some Indians. Perhaps your dreams may become more lucid.
@tryarunm
@tryarunm 3 жыл бұрын
@@roguecheddar I live and ride in India. If you say here that you ride an Indian motorcycle you will impress nobody. If you show them your real living and rip-snorting Chief they will think it's a customised Harley. And this in a country of 1.3 billion. Then add the population of China, who look down on anything Indian. That is nearly 3 billion people who worship the names of Harley and the brothers Davidson. That many people can't be wrong. So when you ride your lovely two-tone dream be grateful that if you get a puncture most people who assist you do so thinking that they are in some way part of the eternal legend of Harley Davidson. My tongue is mostly in cheek. Ride safe, bro.

I have 3 Harleys and 3 Indians in my garage... My sportster gets some looks since it was radically different.. my evo springer gets allot of looks.. the scout gets more.. the the FTR and challenger gets looks everywhere. I've been stopped all over with people asking me about the bikes.. my 20 electra glide gets zero admiration.. it's just like everyone else's. My riding buddies secretly lust over my Indians.
