I don't think the majority of black people are concerned about anyone making them look good. If that were the case, they wouldn't have been caught up in movies like Juice, Boyz n the hood, menace to society, or whatever the case may be. Nor would the reality shows be popular. I don't think they make black men or anyone look good. Yet. People are caught up in them. There is a different reason why people who complain about his films don't care for them. They are just not being honest with themselves. Plus, people are fixated on sounding like a broken record and copying everyone else for a few likes and attention.

It seems cool. I’m going to check it out because I like the actors in it. At this point though, I need Tyler to change it up though. He’s been in the game too long to not create different storylines. Black woman/people love romance, lust, happy home, etc. Maybe a girl next door goes off to college with her best friend and then life happens so they lose touch then years later they founded each other after having a family/growing and fall in love or something. Ish I don’t know but that’s a start right there. 😅😂

That’s why I’m confused why you said it seems cool it’s a recycled story like. He always does this and disguises it with a new cast. This is literally diary of a mad black woman and acrimony. Along with alot of his other series. I know cause I’m a fan but at this rate he’s disrespecting his fans for not giving us fresh new story plots and writing. He’s lazy and making billions off us cause we blindly support him. But he’s not reciprocating. Tired of seeing us black families in a bad light cause of him.

If you don't want to watch, don't watch. Simple as that. While Tyler Perry making these "tired" movies. He's employing thousands and giving back millions to his community. Every movie is a reworked version of some other movie. Especially dramas and action movies. It's only an issue when the cast is black. Learn how to keep scrolling instead of putting your negative mouths on everything. Learn to support for greater good and worry less about 90 minutes of your discomfort. Nobody tells Stephen King to make a movie other than horror.

He had a couple of movies with single dads and crackhead moms but it seems the men didn't care enough about those? Dianne Carol played a completely wicked mother in one of them. There's also one in which Tyler plays a man with a cheating wife who he ends up slapping clean across the room but she's so awful the audience sympathizes with him! 😆 Tyler writes from real life. The fake part is the women finding a decent partner easily. 😏

It's definitely a repeat. I'm sure it'll be good. I want to see it. Can we get more? Even in his funny movies it's always depressing, a rescue me theme until it's not. Let's get a movie from a man's perspective but positive. No bad relationship, no trauma, no mammy and daddy issues just something new. Even the shows filled with Trauma especially The Oval and omg Ruthless 😅.

As an advocate of domestic violence, all his movies are real life events that happen. I'm not a huge fan, but they expose the trauma and fears people actually go through. Despite his personal troubles or experiences, he puts out things that happen. So many people of color are quick to bash others. I say, if you don't know them personally, don't speak on what you don't know. And, he's not forcing you to watch his films, but I bet you do...lol. The hardest critics are not you, but we are the hardest on ourselves. I remember only One being Perfect. I hope it strikes a nerve to a lot of you who are judging. At least he can put out real things that others are afraid to because of critics like you. Keep living in a fantasy and you could be the next victim.

Full agreement!!! Focus on the message. its for today, for tomorrow, for anybody n everybody to know that stuff as this are real. One can't know it all..experiences are great teachers n one must consciously learn from. Tyler is mocked for assembling divorcees. That's crazyyyy for one to sit idly to mock.. do you know the courage they got to put all that act together for the world to see?? It shows they've grown out of the mess they were in and are telling y'all out there that once there's life n there's hope..fight when you need to. Just make sure to stay happy! Tyler Perry did great by giving the idle critics some more work to do just the way they know to do BEST.
