Andi doesn't know her worth and has been in toxic relationships since college and her so-called girlfriends from college can't get through to her but maybe Fatima can. All the "Sistas" share trauma bonds with each other because they are still friends because personally they would've been knocked down to "associate level" with me due to them still acting like they're in college. Fatima has her issues but not as bad as the rest of them

One of the things that you said at the end of your review helped me pinpoint one of the main issues that I have with Tyler Perry’s writing in his shows and movies. He rarely, if ever shows what a healthy relationship looks like. It’s either extremely toxic or perfect like a fairy tale with no in between. He also recycles movie plots within his shows. For example: Karen and Zach’s relationship is coming across more like the relationship depicted in Acrimony. I think the Dani could potentially in a similar situation to the counselor in Temptation. She has Preston who wants to love her and is trying; however, it doesn’t seem to be enough for her and she’s sabotaging and looking for something else. It’s also aggravating because these characters can be so one-dimensional and they never seem to grow up. They keep making the same mistakes over and over again with little self-awareness.

I binge watched this show and Sabrina always has the same tone and expression. She doesn't show a range of emotions. All her emotions just look the same. I can't wait for Andi and Karen to move on. Gary is abusive and possessive. Andi saying it's romantic is scary and dangerous. Karen is destroying her mental health by trying to hold onto Zac who has moved on. If he wanted to be with her, he would. Preacher man left his wife of 17 years because she cheated but won't leave Karen alone and she cheated on him within months of dating. That doesn't make sense a person's core value wouldn't just change like that. Danny cheated on Preston several times. Preston give cow boots girl a chance.
