Andi just wants to keep her position. As for Penelope, she just bitter due to trauma.

Andi thinks that she can just go back to work and fix stuff at the office. Andi thinks she can do everything she wants to and it works out. That's why it back fired in her face when she went to the office. She was expecting to start back working and she didn't.

One of the FEW good things about Season 8 is the overdue wakeup calls for characters like Andi and Fatima who are so used to things going according to THEIR plans, but man oh man...the workplace has not been kind to them at all. Karma is something else. Look at the fact that Jordan lost his campaign bid, Penelope was about to go undercover to give up her old life for a new one and now Andi is booted from the partner conversation and put on leave. All things considered, she's gotten off 'easy' compared to others left in her wake. As I said a week ago, Robin should've fired her behind on the spot for slapping him...

Such crazy storylines, lol. Andi does not deserve to be partner and was 100% due that slap. I will always believe that if Andi told Penelope that Gary almost killed her, she would not have confronted Gary on her own. I agree with you ... what's the point of bringing in a lot of money, if you're paying it out in malpractice claims? Not partner material.

She definitely has to accept the fact that her ties to Gary has damaged her reputation. Andi is not being realistic and had she just laid low while things got figured out it would’ve shown her acknowledging how this could affect the firm but instead she is only thinking of herself….. not to mention she is still showing affection for a man who was in the process of ruining her life and tried to ruin her boss’s ( Robin) life!!!!!! Her first thought should have been I’m going to be removed from the running for partner

That's why I'm loving Season 8 being an eye opener for most of these ladies! Realizing that their lives (especially at their job) aren't on THEIR terms! You can't just act like you can do what you want unless you're the boss (heck even so Karen dealt with a situation that could've ruined her)! She should've accepted my chance at partner is gonna be on hold until this entire Gary case is squared away, but coming up in there like everything is normal...geez...epic fail to say the least!
