I really wish Perry will A.) allow other writers in the room and B.) do at least a 2nd draft of the script! These damn scenes drag because they are so dialogue heavy and everyone talks in circles😒😒😒 That’s not how you create tension.

With all the money Tyler Perry has invested in his production company. How on earth does he keep managing to make D List films. Literally everything, the musical score, the camera angles, the sets, the longggg drawn out dialog, the over dramatics. “You need to go to the hospital” “No I don’t need to” “I seriously think you should” “WHAT DID I SAY” “your right sir” “WELL WHY DID YOU ASK?” “I always ask a good friend” “Am i your friend?“ “Sir I just need to pay my bills for my kids” “WHY DO YOU WANT ME TO GO THE HOSPITAL” “BECAUSE I CARREREEEE” “WHY DO YOU CARE” “SIR IF YOU DONT GO TO THE HOSPITAL I DONT KNOW WHAT ILL DO” Ok…I’ll go” Goes to the next scene…. Like what? 😂

@@Phillyhippie215 His writing is still on the level of how he wrote his stage plays. It was good at the time but as I watch this show (hate watch obvi) it reads like a play. Even the blocking is nuts! The camera doesn’t move like on some Lucas Star Wars prequel level nonsense. Mainly the last one of the prequels. Everything’s shot in a wide angle (for coverage), then over the shoulder, and the reverse. That’s it! He doesn’t need (or want) to move the frickin camera. It’s infuriating and uninteresting to look at. Just think of the editor!! 🤮🤮🤮

I just love the action in this show. Tyler Perry is just the best. I feel like he can incorporate a lot more action in a series or something. Maybe have a show with fighting, like you can have three badass black girls just stopping crime. It would be like Charlie's angel but with black girls and a lot more drama & comedy.
