Traveled through Amarillo for work a few years ago and stopped at Tyler's by chance one night for dinner. So glad I did! The food was fantastic and Tyler was a gracious and friendly host. We ate a little bit of everything and it was all so, so good. We do not have BBQ like this in Idaho!

How do you not have Air con in Texas ? Or is it well hidden ? Looks like a top spot but nothing worse than being all hot trying to enjoy BBQ ;)

I ate here this afternoon. I loved the smoked Turkey, it was fantastic! However, the brisket was disappointing. It looked fantastic. It was super tender and juicy. The problem was the acrid smoke flavor. It was immediately apparent that it had been subject to heavy dirty smoke for a long time. I could barely taste the beef. I have been burping up the heavy smoke taste all night. No bueno!

Last time I ate there it was the worst barbecue I ever had maybe the good shift took the day off I'm sure you can do better
