Everyone else is feeling as fuck listening to this, but this song makes me happy. Essentially, Tyler is telling his dad to go fuck himself because he wasn’t even in his life. Meanwhile, my dad is in his prime. Before I was born, he broke his neck, leading him to get hooked on fentanyl, and was always a heavy drinker and cigarette smoker. When I was 4, he decided to go cold turkey and almost died. He went through being basically homeless and eating next to nothing all week so that on the weekends, he and I could eat pizza and drink chocolate milk together. He now lives near the water and has his own business. Remember, life always gets better. I love you.
