This is a sad comment but this video reminded me of this up and coming singer from a few years ago, Christina Grimmie. She went from singing in her bedroom for youtube videos to 3rd place on The Voice, and had got signed and everything. A fan approached her after a show, she offered a hug and a picture and instead the fan sh o t and klled her. You really never know what might happen when you get approached, and Tyler really captures that here.

Notice in the rear view mirror of the car there's a car behind him but in the drone shots it's not there? That was completely intentional.

Would definitely recommend checking out any of Tyler's music videos. He's one of those people that deserves to hold the title of artist. Always super creative and interesting.

he also has his own clothing/accessory/etc brand (golf le fleur) and he directs even the promo videos for new collection drops and he did the ad for the perfume release too (plus he also has partial creative vision over how the pictures for the catalogue are shot/styled) and genuinely EVERY single video on his youtube channel is worth watching, not just the music videos. also a lil fun fact: one of his artistic inspirations is wes anderson and you can totally see that in a lot of his 2019-2023 era vids with the pastel colours and the zooms and symmetry and quirkiness. of course there's more than just wes but he's one of the more noticeable inspos haha. i genuinely want him to direct a feature length film cuz not only does he direct all his vids and has developed such a breathtakingly distinctive style, but he also comes up with the most creative scenarios - literally proving why he picked this stage name for himself

2012-2013 is where he started to up his visuals, when he got with his team and mainly his usual collaborator since thn Luis Panch, they both work great. Look at Rella music video, he already got the vision

this is amazing!! once u start going down the tyler the creator rabbit hole it just keeps getting better and better ! u should react to sorry not sorry the music video and ifhy music video you would LOVE THEM 🔥🔥!! tyler produces all his videos and in all his albums he has a different “persona” so in chromakopia he’s showing this persona with a mask? not sure yet but in his first albums bastard and goblin he has a persona called “ace the creator” , in his wolf album he’s “wolf haley” , in his igor album he has this persona as a character in a wig? if you wanna get into Tyler I would start with his newer albums like the estate sale and once your comfortable with those get into his older albums .. they are a bit controversial but still super amazing! and if you want to get into his older music I would watch the video “a deep dive into the wolf trilogy” .. tyler is a musical GENIUS

The chorus or hook is a sample from a 70s song by the Ngozi Family from Zambia the original song is called Nizaka panga ngozi.its a chewa language widely spoken in Zambia,Malawi and Mozambique.the meaning of that hook is when coming to my house come with respects. i dont like talking too much coz talking too much brings Gossip.

Think a reaction to the rest of the album might be a good call. Also worth noting that the videos for the album are consdensed versions of the actual tracks on the album. For example the album version of Noid is 4m44s vs this video which is only 2m43s. but the visuals in the videos are pretty fantastic. Tyler's got alot going on creatively and not slowing down anytime soon.
