This game is really hostile towards new player because of smurf account and imbalance where most likely u will against really experienced player instead new one. 2. If u guys from America dan Europe, under any circumstance do not play on South East Asia server. Hard core toxic and cancer player mostly infest at this region. 3. When u play dota, u will need a relaxing mind and calm heart. Beacause if u stress, u basiclly fucked up. 4.If u team up with toxic player, there is a MUTE button to ignore them. It amazes the fanboyism from both sides. Talking shit about the games when they even have not played it. Both games have strong and weak points. League of legends is more casual. Accept it, even Guinsoo (One of the creators) said he wanted to make a Dota version but much simplified and easier (Less stuns, no deny, no mana burn, no turn rate and such), so it is much new player friendly that Dota is. You can get to challenger (If you are good enough) with one champion. The league meta is so stale, static and all new champions do things that previous champions did. Almost every new champion includes a dash, 3 hit to proc an ability etc. Dota, as you see, is not very friendly for new players. Is basically "Welcome to Dota 2, now get out". Bigger map, strong CC's, turn rates, mana burns, day/night cycle. However all heroes and abilities have counters. You got silenced? Eul's scepter. The enemy carry has BKB? Get skull basher / Abyssal blade. The enemy has a lot of strong right clickers? Get Heaven's Halberd. They have a lot of stuns / burst? Get a lotus orb. The meta is not strict. The most used one is 1 offlaner, 1 midlaner, 1 carry and 2 supports but also can be 2 offlaners (One support), 1 mid, 2 in the safelane; 2 Mid 1 off 2 Safelane,; 3 offlaner and such. tl;dr Before you talk shit about both games, try the effort and play them. I got Masters in League (S5) and currently stuck at 3.9k mmr in Dota.

Arkantos1900 I played dota 1 since beta and played lol since season 1. I personally like lol better. But dota is harder no doubt. Currently diamond 4 in the last season and played less than 50 games. I play dota 2 and wish there was a surrender option.

I wish tyler1 would play more DOTA 2 in his streams. He needs a bit more practice and he also needs to study every character skills, supporting (if he could get in to that), careful strategy, warding, picking right items for each heroes and so much more. tyler1 needs to be diverse and consistent in playing MOBA games.
