For general reference, a champ can become strong when it's counters get nerfed or stuff that synergizes with it get buffed.

Yeah he got buffed, pretty much every ability does more base dmg and has more scaling(not that he gets much ap), his CDs also got buffed, his hook cd at max rank went from 11 to 9 and since if you lank a hook it gets reduced by 3s, if you have any CDR, his hook is pretty much always up. All the values were buffed by a significant amount too. you can look at patch history. And he has never been weak, which is the problem, he is a champ that is heavily dependent on player skill, so good thresh players have been completely fine even before the buff, now if you have a good thresh player, the champ just feels like it does everything as a support, peel, engage, tank, set-up.

@@bonkling It’s just typical player base ideology in general. As a jungler I’ll be the first to say not just anyone can hop into my role and do good. I decided to try out support and it’s a whole different beast. Depending on if you’re paying a peel sup or an enchanter you can be single handedly responsible for engaging, peeling EVERYONE, maintaining AND denying vision, and roaming during key moments. I thought my role was on the technical side but nah man true support players are fucking insane it’s actually wild.

Too many champions have their entire kit built around invis. Twitch, Eve, teemo, shaco, kha,Akshun. I guarantee I’m missing more but my point is invisibility is a staple for a lot of champions. Not enough to say a huge percentage of the 160 champions have invisibility but enough to not make it worth removing invisibility. They’d have to entirely rework too many champions. Eve and Twitch would be the biggest ones in need of a rework. Eve and twitch’s entire kit is based around their invisibility and they would need some form of compensation for losing a huge part of their identity.

my problem with that bullshit is that there is no drawback to being invisible. Being invisible should make you vulnerable if you are revealed and caught out, but it never works like that. Scanner should also be able to be used against invisible champs. Like, Shaco isnt a op, but that champ legitimately pisses me off. you reveal him, he gets caught out and outplayed, then proceeds to just run away invisible. so dumb.
