@@lucasnadamas9317I don’t like the idea of tanks doing damage. I’ve always been a supporter of the idea that tanks do no damage, but provide insane CC and utility for their team. Ornn, for example, would be the perfect tank if he didn’t have scaling off his resistances. He does a lot of CC, provides utility in the form of battlefield changing, and upgrades his team’s items mid game. Riot keeps trying to fit tanks into a semi-bruiser/dueling style, instead of the 5v5 tank/playmaker style that they should be. Like I get that it’s SoloQ and supposed to be chaotic, but there is no reason for Ornn to be classified as a tank, and doing the same job that Illaoi does (pull 3 to a side lane) Only counter argument I have for my point are champs like Maokai, who are built to flex into whatever the comp needs (lacking ap? Build ap. Lacking frontline? Build tank) Ofc, Riot also hates making any champ fit one fking role, so Maokai gets to do everything and have damn near zero downsides.

The Cho’Gath Problem… during my time when getting my Masters this what I named my senior thesis on. How could a specimen grow into such large dimensions and still hold its own weight? when it dawned on me, In order to support such a large structure it must consume something easy to obtain but nutritious in value. There are probably no high elo players here to answer this but I am genuinely curious, is T1’s gripes about the Lee Sin because it impacts his fun, or because it’s actually griefing the game state? I thought junglers usually helped shove waves (the cannon smite was definitely grief) but wasn’t the 2/1/2 split fine for mid/late game with this comp? Leblanc never dies if she plays properly so she can split side. EZ+Janna hold mid wave while Lee hovers Cho in the other side?
