If any of you are wondering why the Tesla launches so well, it’s that the electric cars get their torque immediately compared to a internal combustion engine (gas engine) not hitting peak torque until about 5-7k rpms. Torque is simply how hard the car can pull or how much power is distributed to the wheels.

Well you should understand that an electric car doesn’t have an engine, which will make the car speed up faster. But engines like the v8 start slow but speed up after a little while, which means if the track was longer all of the other cars would smoke the Tesla.
