took me a while to understand the point of computed() because of that, all their examples were useless, with other, more convenient ways to achieve what they were doing. Add to that all the youtubers making content after they've read the documentation once... Yeah, not many great Vue channels out there, unfortunately. took me 6 months to learn that I can use v-bind(nameOfVariable) in CSS!

Ok basic question here; how do you save the store so everything is not wiped out when the browser refreshes? I assume it has to go to session or cookie or local storage or something? So how do you keep the data saved so it's not lost on page change?

I would either use a database or localstorage for that!

@@TylerPotts Yes that would have to be the case. It's just that I've found dozens of state management how-tos and such but everybody stops short of explaining how to actually keep the state! I'm assuming there are tools to persist state, that's what I thought state management was to begin with, Vuex or Pinia. But then I learn those don't actually persist the state, so now I guess there must be even more state management tools/plugins? Tutorials always stop short of explaining how to maintain state. Nobody wants to write an app or game or todo list that wipes out all your data if the browser gets refreshed. That would seem like a given topic to go over when dealing with state management. Thanks!
