Great video! Glad to see our buddy Kevin out with you too, he's a stick on that lake and we know his guide business out there is going to be THE DEAL!

Tyler come to Boise, Idaho in the spring for 200 ponds and I’ll show you a sick public pond! But plan for more of a night pond fishing session.

I swear that Paul Rudd looks older in the fake mustache than he actually does now, 20 years later! He is probably immortal.

This is a swimjig question but why do you use a sideways craw versus a paddle tail when you are imitating bluegill, I would think a paddle tail would work better, when I say sideways a mean like if you laid it ont he bottom the claws would be upright they flap left and right not up and down
@davidfelton30842 күн бұрын
IMO you can do it either way depending on how you plan to fish the jig. If you're doing the shaking technique and want to keep it very high in the water column I think having the trailer horizontal helps with that presentation. If you're just swimming it and maybe pulsing the skirt w/ the reel handle, I'd use a swimbait trailer. It's really about profile and color (shad or bluegill) more than being anatomically correct w/ a swimjig.
@us_patriot_31b2 күн бұрын
Profile, it creates a taller baitfish bait profile similar to that of a bluegill crappie tilapia etc.
@Jon_Ray2 күн бұрын
Bluegill are more of like a boxier style shaped fish. And a paddletail represents a shad better because they are not so tall and boxy like. They are more slender

Also rate of fall. Rigged horizontal it’ll fall slightly slower than rigged vertical
