We were in the path of totality, and we had clear skies, but I was alone and didn't have glasses, so it wasn't as magical as it could have been. I cried watching Tyler's footage, because it sort of rounded out my experience.

Thanks for sharing your family’s experience during the eclipse! I was in the path of totality here in Dallas, TX. I deal with chronic pain and for the last 6 months have spent 90% of my time in bed. I was praying that I would have enough energy to go outside and check out the eclipse. The day of the eclipse, I made my way downstairs, to the backyard, and stood in so much pain just so I could experience it. I kept thinking, I wish I wasn’t in so much pain so I could enjoy this marvel more. When the totality ended, I made my way back upstairs to get into bed. I walked in my room and got blinded by the intense light coming from my window, and then it hit me…my bed is right next to a huge arched window that the sun shines through everyday! There’s no window treatments on it because of its size and shape. I could have sat in bed and watched the whole thing! 😂 I didn’t know if I should laugh or cry. I sat in bed with my solar glasses until the partial time ended. Gotta love brain fog!
