I don't want to "correct" you, by any means, as music and lyrics should have the liberty of being interpreted on a personal level but I wanted to give some more context behind the lyrics that may have been lost in translation. But first I wanted to start off with some context. This is Ado's debut song that was released when she was 18, but she recorded it when she was 17. The irony is that she's talking about checking the stock market and pouring drinks despite never having experiencing those things, at the time of recording, because she's an extreme introvert still in high school. In the beginning about her (referring to the character in the video and not necessarily Ado herself) being an honor student, the translation says "young" but the Japanese lyrics actually uses a more colloquial way of saying "very little" so it's implied that she was doing all the "right" things growing up, but before she knew it she had become a grown up herself yet she's still bogged down by societal expectations like checking the stock market and working for a company with a pure spirit. The bit about pouring drinks and taking off skewers for the ease of eating are referring to the Japanese culture's unwritten rules of the youngest one in a group having to do those things at an izakaya (Japanese style bar). Stereotypically, the eldest of the bunch is usually babbling on about their accomplishments and the hardships they had to go through when they were young which is what causes her to snap and say "Usseewa" or "Shut up" and to "close your stinking mouth."

Is that irony? She’s just describing the expectations and that pressure, those are what people *say* you should do, she wasn’t saying she personally did those things herself. It’s about the idea of that’s who you are supposed to be, it’s not saying she’s tired of *doing* those things for a long time, there’s no contradiction for being younger and not having done them yet.. I don’t think you were correcting him at all, he was on point and you are just giving the cultural specifics of *which* adult expectations she was describing, this is addition not contrary

Her song "I'm a Controversy" is essentially a sequel to Usseewa. It's like a response song to the significant social backlash she got following Usseewa's release - which she was around 17 years old at the time of said release btw!!!

I have a new artist suggestion for you : Ren. He is a Welsh independent artist who did the near impossible by debuting his album least year at number 1 on the UK charts. Most reactors start down the Ren rabbithole with his song "Hi Ren" though I can definitely see you jamming out to such tracks as "Losing it," "what you want," "down on the beat," "Halftime," "Loco," "Animal flow," "Back on '74/Message in a bottle retake " etc. I think starting Ren reactions will bring a lot of new eyeballs to your channel.
