The Felix intro is actually a skit based on how the introdution between Stray Kids and Btob went on the show. It was more funny if you had seen that from the first episode. That is why they think its hilarious.

During the meetup of the groups, the guy that laughed corrected Bang Chan after Chan said it was a "pleasure to meet" him. The guy said , "Shouldn't you say 'how are you,' and then say 'I'm fine thank you, and you?'"...They were lowkey clapping back at a friend for correcting them (since they're actual English speakers, and what Chan said was absolutely correct).

The first seconds of the performance is Felix recreating a scene from Deadpool. I'm sure everyone was tagging Ryan Reynolds so he would see it. And now he is the unofficial Stay President after he reached out to Chan and they are now buddies.

1:50 the joke is that Koreans are taught to respond to how are you with I’m fine thank you and you and Chan was talking to Eunkwang of btob in English at one point and was asked how are you and he responded with something other than that and really confused Eunkwang who said shouldn’t you just say I’m fine thank you and you so it’s also a call back to that

In the very first episode of Kingdom: Legendary War, BTOB was trying to break the ice a bit and get the younger groups to feel less anxious. At one point, Eunkwang (the guy who cracks up here) started talking to "Mr. Chan" in English, and Bang Chan of course responded with an Aussie accent. Poor Eunkwang struggled through the basic "textbook greeting", but it happened. His response to Felix doing the one-sided "textbook greeting" here is just gold to me, and makes me giggle every time I see it. (Someone else already pointed this out, but I wanted to share my thoughts on it too, because it really is a memorable part of the show for me.) Wooyoung's "My son!" reaction lives rent-free in my brain, seriously. Another of my favorite things about K:LW, haha. So, the vowel in the first syllable of Seungmin's name is ㅡ (written 으 when there's no preceding consonant). It's a difficult vowel for the English-trained tongue, and it's a rather "flat" sound just like the flat line of the vowel. One of my video tutorials said it might be easier if you try to shape your mouth like the line before making the sound. Maybe start with the "uh" (short u) sound and then try to "flatten" that out until it's kind of a cross between "uh"/"ooh"... or something. Honestly, it's kind of hard to explain, but listening to things like "Seungmin in the building" compilations will help. There are plenty of other idols and actors with that vowel as well, so watching introductions could help. (I hear more of an "ooh" when people like Cha Eun-woo and Park Eun-bin say their names; possibly due to surname being said first, but also likely just due to English-trained ears.)

@@TiaTruly It's kind of textbook dialog for any language you're learning, too true. My 13yo took Spanish from 2nd to 7th grade at school, and the number of times I heard her walking around saying "Hola! Como estas? Muy bien, y tu?" (forgive the lack of accents there) is kind of funny. Now she does it in Japanese, too, since she's learning that on her own time. (To be fair, I'm learning to say it all in Korean, so... yeah!) This whole performance was kind of perfection, though, and the reactions from the others just highlight how great it really is.

Stray Kids has a plethora of extra footage of them (both from Kingdom: LW and regular album releases) for both recording vocals/beats and dance practices. I'd highly recommend them (or even a compilation) to showcase their work ethic and how they think thru the songs they produce!

It's pronounced a bit like "SOONG min". Sometimes it just a certain word that makes you have problems. I know I had problems...Till I watched a short with him saying "Seungmin in the building" a LOT. I loved this stage. They did a lot of running from one end to another to get it all in one take. When they blanked the screen, it was just a filter between switching between the two cameras they used. And they really played into the Deadpool theme. From the scribbled heist note (Which they executed during the song), to the breaking of the fourth wall to talk to us as viewers, to the speech bubbles that float behind Chan that he interacts with. For a live, single take, this was impressive. I loved the fact that the subway/bus was the inside of the big tank at the end. And that they could open it up for that one scene where they ended up pointing the guns at Lee Know. (Like the camera/phone scene from the BP video) If you ever find the behind video of that performance....Chan had to RUN from the close up camera scene to make it up to the top of the tank....And in practices, he sometimes didn't make it. AND he had to do that without being seen by the cameras during that dance number.

"Soong-min" is as close as you're gonna get to Seungmin's name when drawing from the English phonetic toolbox. And being as even he and other members will sometimes pronounce it like that rather than in the purely Korean fashion (the 으 vowel sound in 승 -- the first syllable/character of Seungmin/승민 -- isn't hard, but it's not really used in English), it's pretty ok to just try your best and go with "Soong-min." They understand that people have accents. Hell, Hyunjin thinks it's funny to call him "Sung-min," which is wildly wrong. "Puppy" also works.
