Copying a comment under the original song: "For some background info for this song, YOASOBI is actually performing with 1000 18-year-olds in Japan who submitted their worries/challenges/troubles/hopes to the duo. Then the two went through all of their letters and selected 1000 people for the song. They created this song to encourage these young adults!! Very touching backstory and makes it even more special." I think the "tink tink tink" is actually a xylophone. It's playing a countermelody and it's kinda difficult to hear the different pitches in there, but he probably wanted that xylophone timbre.
