The directions on the custard instructs to apply sparingly. That may be why it flaked. Bomb twistout though.

I never comment on anything but I absolutely had to comment here!!! I have had this line for a while and only did wash and go’s but after watching this video I decided I was going to try to do everything you did. I am the absolute WORST at doing hair but I did the 3 strand twists successfully and I got AWESOME results!!! I didn’t have the flakes thankfully and my curls came out soooo beautiful! I wish I could post a picture of my results here! Thank you sooo much for this video and DIY instructions!!

Hi, thanks for the review! I wanted to suggest that you try out the Lottabody setting lotion (not foam), have you ever tried it?? It has hold but zero flakes and I absolutely LOVE it. I think it would serve you well, and it mixes well with other creams/leave ins. :)

At the end of last year of getting a silk press, idk what happened but my curls weren’t defined anymore and my hair was really dry and just creating split ends. Going natural has proven to be the best decision I've ever made as well. I am learning protective styles bc I can't get too frequent with wash and go's, I'm learning. You can get them at any beauty supply store. I get mine from Sally’s. I call them butterfly clips but idk if that’s the official name lol
