I don't think I mind being a bore, because damn my internal world is fun.

This is very humbling, but I suppose it can't be avoided. ...at least my computer desn't think I'm boring. Right, computer? * squints at screen through obligatory stereotypical glasses *

i relate to this type the most but two things he says cause me to think i might not be 5. 1: i sometimes sit at the front of the class, and engage heaps. 2: i think I'm pretty good at reading people and knowing when they want me to shut up; i would have thought that this is one of the characteristics of 5s, seeing as they are observers. (ive only just learnt about this enneagram thing so have minimal knowledge on this so could be like taking absolute shit)

I just took the test and got 5. A lot of it makes sense, however I'm usually the one getting cornered by people who won't stop talking. I'm usually the one hiding behind the tall plant at the party.

As a 4w5 SP/SX...I can certainly identify with many aspects of his truncated, oral "dissertation".

Any chance you can add the Rohr videos for the other 5 personality types? I love his videos

I find I am a firm 5w4, but occasionally enjoy one on one direct saturation with an individual, although it is brief. Is that weird, Lol?

As a 5, I'm trying to read all the negative/positive dualities on the chalk board in the background but see it all. Do u have those handy?
@melissamajor-smith52487 жыл бұрын
Sure David. The negative or disintegration of the 5 is 'avarice'. Avarice in this sense applies to knowledge, not necessarily monetary greed. The positive or integration of the 5 is detachment. In this case the ability to take in information and detach from it. Very hard for us 5's to do but we keep trying.

o, this is so disappointing - the whole talk seems so terribly negative. I don't think I learnt anything positive about type 5 here.

Yea, I'm a 5w4 and the whole talk was just focused on exaggerating our negative sides.

Is this guy an ESTJ?

Jennifer Grove He talks and dresses like my ESTJ dad, so perhaps haha. I do sense a Te-Ne combo in his speaking, however.

Do type 5's tend to be atheists?
@melissamajor-smith52487 жыл бұрын
They can be, possibly more so than other numbers due to the rationalization. 5's can also be very rigid fundamentalists. The underlying need of a 5 is 'to be right'. Some of your most rigid atheists are probably 5's. But the same can be said about fundamentalists. The idea that 'I'm right' whether one is a theist or an atheist determines how staunchly theist or atheist a person is. Infantile religion (religion at its lowest) comes out of religion rationalized.
