Would be better if it read values from character panel instead of assigning its own defaults. So when you go to write mode nothing changes.

There was ways around it, using scales and text animators. but it was never changing the source value, just adding effects on top of it

It's better if they create some index based property for reading through system fonts. The character panel have a bug with scrolling through the fonts. It's the old bug happened in CC2018. They've brought back the same bug.

Thanks so much! BTW leading is pronounced 'ledding' cos in the old days they separated the lines of text with strips of lead (the metal)!

Just FYI - the word Leading is pronounced "ledding" not "leeding". Pretty useful looking tool!

Hi there.. Very helpful preset, however I'm hoping to add to the preset by having a way of changing the font as well. I have made several hundred Hold keyframes for song lyric video, now I need to change the font across all of this, as well as using the preset to apply font changes. Are you able to explain if this is possible? if so, how? Thanks

After updating to 2020 ... My spacebar doesn't stop Preview... The video keeps on playing no matter how many times I press Spacebar... Any solution please?

My guess would be something gpu related. What are your computer specs?

@@mr.incognito4719 in the preferences under the DISPLAY section, there is a checkbox for "Hardware Accelerate Composition" try turning that off.

Anything that is on a single layer can be turned into a preset. just save it as an animation preset. to create the controller, I use this. aescripts.com/pseudo-effect-maker/?aff=23

Adobe still hasn't added the ability to have multiply styles in a text layer. It sends back an error of {Object-object] There is no way to bold certain words in a text block driven by expressions. booo.
