Peter Steele grew up Catholic and this song alludes to his knowledge of it. He described himself as an atheist for many years but he came back to God before his death. He acknowledged God is there, there is indeed a reason we are here, and Hitler and Mother Teresa would indeed not go to the same place after death. I seen them in Brooklyn NY When This album first came out before they really became a huge band. Met Peter that night after there set. He gave me his bass pick and had about a 10 minute talk he was very down to Earth. He is now singing up in Heaven. RIP Peter you are missed by many that your music touched.😇
