Hi Peter, uh Corey! I’m missing the Green Man hard core today. I had to come over and visit you to remind me how he still lives- in your soulful voice. You have a beautiful gift, nobody dares cover my Peter, except the one man I have found who truly knows how to bring Pete’s presence back to life. He is YOU. Type O- Negative was a band unlike any other, the first time I ever heard them was as a fourteen year old girl at a party, and someone put on “Bloody Kisses.” I was instantly blown away with awe, that pipe organ-then that VOICE! Pete could sing me off a Cliff! I hope that you will continue to honor him as you have in this beautiful finished version of “If She Loved Me,” which was never found in production save for the concerts he played in. You truly capture Peter’s spirit in this song, and as a fellow singer with perfect pitch, I cannot compliment you enough! Peter and the guys were awesome to see in concert- I saw them at OzzFest the first time, and then for their “World Coming Down” tour, where Peter baptized the front of me with his bottle of red wine 🍷, playfully spraying his fans with his thumb on the top of the bottle. I was soaking wet! It’s definitely not an experience that many people have had in their life! It was a standing room only battle of a show, and I made it to the front row, boxing people out like in basketball with my ass! It helps to be 5’11 too! That brings back memories of the happiest time in my life. The show was so heavy that the POWER WENT OUT! IT TURNED INTO A MAJOR GRABFEST QUICK! I will never forget that show, and the strange accidental prediction of the World (Trade Center) Coming Down, But with a different meaning. My tour shirts are in tact today, and you should see what the background looks like... the back says “Only the Dead Know Brooklyn.” Pete has an interesting picture on the front of one of the shirts that looks like the cover of the album. It’s surreal that they named the album by that name. They were Brooklyn boys, and whoa! How strangely prophetic that they named the album what they did, in 1999. They were on another level. It’s some insane “coincidence.” Peter was my muse, and I cannot think of another band that is ANYTHING LIKE TYPE O- NEGATIVE! There were one-of-a kind, and so are YOU! Peter thanks 🙏 you for finishing this awesome song 🎶 for the band! You have a darkly beautiful voice like Peter’s that I hope you will continue to use, and honor the Green Man like nobody else CAN! What a beautiful tribute man...I think Pete would dig it. It's brave to cover Type O as their sound is difficult to replicate. You've got the keyboards really close and the guitar is almost on point. The drums and bass are different. Now the most important bit, the vox. Well; you're pretty damn close to Pete's wailing baritone. Not the same; nothing will ever sound like Peter. God, how I miss him. Thank you so much for this though; it's truly touching.

I just wanted to say thank you for this. I just stumbled upon this bootleg live track recently, and I absolutely loved it. I lamented the fact that there was no fully-realized studio version. But now, thanks to you, this is pretty damn close. I really like your interpretation, and all the things you added to it. In 3 years its the 10th anniversary of Peter's passing. This continues to break my heart in many ways. One of my biggest regrets as a fan is that Pictures of Matchstick men with Peter's vocals is only a demo with no hope of ever being polished up fit for release. Don't get me wrong, I love Ozzy and he did a great job on the official single, but I need Peter's version!! So how about putting your own version together?? You've got the voice and the talent. It'll be the closest we'll ever get to a clean version of this rare, much loved classic. Its just a thought. (hint, hint!) :))

Back at it again! I keep coming around to this video on odd times of the year. Type O Negative, for all the self depreciation and not really taking themselves seriously have touched so many lives. Definitely kept me from doing something stupid, even pushed me into making music as a hobby. Speaking of, I would like to have your stems. stunning work; if someone would have told me that this was an extra from the october rust demo tape, the only thing i'd find keeping me from _totally_ believing it forever would be the lack of pete's distinct bass, some warm rhythm guitar highlights, and the absence of reverb have you considered collaborating with josh silver, or henry font? henry's doing pist.on again-and, even setting aside the fact that _number one_ was produced by silver (and thus is bound to sound at least _somewhat_ like type o negative), font is probably the one guy whose stuff, _independent_ of silver's contribution, has a similar vibe to type o negative; check out _down & out_ (album version obviously has silver as producer), _vamp 69,_ and _exhume her_
