In that case open wiring which is not advisable in residence and second option make a pattern with wooden battens to hide the wire. Third chiseled the slab to 10- 12mm to that wire can pass then repair < that's depend upon the site condition>

Nice information. i am expecting possession of my new flat in mumbai shortly. i was researching options for lighting as i dont want false ceiling. you talked about hiding wires with 2" POP. I am thinking on similar lines and wish to hide wires by decorative wooden panels - 3-4" wide and about 2" thick drilled into ceiling over the wire. of course will carve a groove in the wood to accommodate the wire. infact i can create a geometric pattern on ceiling with these wooden panels and decorate them with T patti. How is this idea?
