If u play a build for 3 hours and ur not saucy with it. Then you should try a new one. That's the rule I use as someone who has used every build in the game. Because im an aggressive kendo main it effects how I play other builds. I also use m1s alot. Kendos playstyle works with healer if u m1 alot. The only build i have never gotten good at was kido that shit has no skill. Its just spam. Im using hakuda rn and it took me 3 days to get good with it. Its fun to use and helps u learn how to play against hakuda.

45 kendo 20 speed or 40 kendo 25 speed depends if u want speed sbs or not, mortal ties works in low elo but pressure shift is a must for high elo

Me personally I’d use a starrk slot to solo boss raids and go kido. I’ve been trying to roll for starrk on my arrancar for a week now and 200 rr haven’t gotten me anything yet lol

Odachi may not be the best weapon for kendo since you can’t gain any distance with it, but it’s a pretty good weapon in general so you may as well learn how to use it effectively with your playstyle. The best kendo weapons are gonna be longsword, dagger and katana, though. Kendo is all about closing the distance and applying pressure, generally speaking.

I use schwert for Quincy since it’s a ranged block break which is something kendo doesn’t have, also great for comboing since it’s hard to parry and comes out late which is good for mixups

I’m a ice sr with odachi what should my stats be

since ice has a counter you can go mortal ties, also odachi is great for combos because of the critical and you can keep them close with the mortal ties, you can either do 55 kendo 10 speed for more agression or 45 kendo 20 speed for a second counter which is more defense, it depends on how you play, also get evicerate and sonata flow crescent relief is kinda bad because you can just use bisection and get a similar result, also get horizon core, ice can get crazy combos with the claw move and horizon core with split gate/ odachi critical, also i suggest you play agressive and combo people, however its really only good for 1v1s, if you’re in a 2v1 or 2v2 then you cant combo people very well also speed skillboxes like ghost cleave work but evicerate sonata flow is good for combos, its up to you on how you want to play
