What's the difference between substituted agent and representation of principle by sub agent properly appointed.?? Plz explain.

A substituted agent is a person who is actually nominated by sub agent but appointed by principal and he is actually responsible to principal that means principal can sue him directly but in case of sub agent duly appointed principal cannot directly sue sub agent (privity of contract)and also in case of sub agency. Agent appoint sub agent and in substituted agency agent only nominate .
