There are different types of pearl bead, depending on what you want to use it and how you want to use it, there are also plastic coated pearl beads that are usually not heavy, even after using them for big beads.let me know if you have any more questions

Yes you can use 0.60mm for your bags, 0.80mm is too much thick.
