Hi You have misquoted the way LC function at 2.42 you have said that “bene will submit docs to negotiating bank and will get payment” this is not correct at all Negotiating bank will send the docs to issuing bank or confirming bank as per instructions in LC Also you have missed on Reimbursement bank in this diagram

Hi Good Day, i want to know that my shipper is asking lc at sight for goods export to me, if i open lc at sight and shipper send bad quality of goods then who is responsible? because bank never take responsiblity for goods quality they only responsible for documents as per mention in lc at sight, what is the other solution for that? any clause or anything? i am willing to get documents first then release cargo and check quality if ok then i will pay to bank otherwise hold or cancel. for usance lc 30 days my other shipper asking usance lc 30 days and i am opening usance lc 30 days from other country so how it will work? shipper will send documents to issuing bank and issuing bank will send me in my bank? if they send in my bank i will collect and release cargo and pay within 30 days? what is criteria of usance 30 days or 60 days, could you please explain it , thank you.
