Dear sir, depth of your knowledge and clearity is reflecting in your video. To make this type of quality video, one really need to such fine sance of applicability of the statistical tools. But I would like to suggest you for two things, firstly sound of your video, which need to increase. And second is length to introduction ratio. Almost half of your video containing introduction. It effectively reducing effectieveness of this video.

Important differentiation between Interval and Ration scale is that when you have data in Interval scale it will not have any absolute zero, while when you have ratio scale you will have absolute zero that is non existence of that item example when you use weight, height etc and value 0 of height means there is no height at all.

For using non parametric test I have given the reason.. if data is not normal...you need to establish its normality

Brother, I'm not MPhil or Ph.D. student but I would simply like to ask that if I want to find the relation between risks factors (independence Variables) such as age, gender, and independable variables like knowledge, attitude or practice score, then what type of test will I need to use? If i want to see the effect of education on knowlege of patients towards their disease

Dear its not as simple, rather a lot factors must be kept in mind before applying any test. like nature of variables and their relationships with each other, population (whether known or unknown), Number of variable and samples, method and instruments of data collection etc.. In case of "impact of education on patient knowledge about disease" if you wana do primary research, then simple T-test can be applied if your population is known. and so on...

If I have known number of population, and want to look for relation (p-Value) between Independent variables (Categorial; nominal and Ordinal) and dependent variables (ratio), can i use multiple regression analysis?

I and my colleagues are planning a KAP (knowledge, attitude, and practice) study in AIDS patients towards AIDS, please help us in choosing appropraite tests for this study. our independent variables will age, locality, education, income, etc. There will be liked scale questions in attitude and practice sections. Although, the questions in knowledge section will be asked with yes or no?

Dear, sorry to say, but your statement is contradicting and confusing.. simply for relationship studies where we want to see impact on I.V on D.V.. We can use T-test (in case of known population) and can run multiple regression analysis as well.

ok, brother, I got the point, anyhow thank you for your promoted reply! I simply meant that I.Vs are Demographics characteristics and D.Vs are score. Suppose if you want to see the relation between your students' age, knowledge source, locality, time of study, income etc and their exam score.
