If you take (1,-1/2) then that is 1/2 and when you take (1/2,-1) that us also 1/2. So if (a,b)€R and( b,c)€R then (a,c) should belongs to R but for value (1,-1) is equal to 0 that is not greater than zero hence it is not transitive. Hope you understand brother

when you can't prove that the relation is transitive or not just try to find a certain relation in which you can prove that the relation is not transitive if you are not able to do that than the question might have flaws. hencerforth for JEE atleast i think you should mark it as non transitive if you are not able to solve for transitivity.
