My favourite is my neighbour when I grew up. He basically became my big brother, and he played ice hockey. Any time he entered the ice field near our house, he would beeline to me and act like he was going to tackle the living daylights out of me (I'm a girl so he gave my parents a few heart attacks) at mach Jesus, but then at the last second he stopped, spraying me with ice of course, and hugged me. As a figure skater, I had to replay this short 3 times to see if that was a half rotation jump (waltz jump) or an axel (1 and a half rotations). Sure the technique isn't there that us figure skaters do, but damn that's really impressive edit: an idea for you to land it one footed, is to make sure when you land, your left foot/leg is higher than your right, and then bring it more through when you land

I used to do figure skating as a child, and I still regularly go skating as an adult, however just for fun (I’m Nordic, lakes are a good option for the most part 😂) So a tinder date of mine decided going skating would be cute, you know, having a young woman lean on him to help her on the ice and stuff. Yeah that didn’t work for him, I’m mostly the nonchalant entry style. I didn’t bring my own skates just to not make him feel incredibly inadequate. Been 5 years I’m now married to the guy and he still complains about me not telling him about me being a figure skater. He could have asked 😂
