6:55 To me, the simplest explanation of generics in typescript is "It's a type that's passed as an argument in a function/interface/type/class etc" But yea Scott's explanation was also very nice.

Just had one interview yesterday, and I froze in the middle of it to stuff simpler than this. Idk why tbh. Now I am questioning my whole existence. 3 years working in this field I feel like I dont know anything.

I get it. We do this all the time and we still both freeze out of things we know very. It’s the nature of having to keep so many things in your brain at all times. The more you focus on really having strong foundations, the easier it gets to reason when you don’t explicitly know the answer. Don’t beat yourself up, it’s tough.
