hi, so to do that, you can change the background color which will then change the cursor color. in this tutorial, it'd be BackGround2 node.

hi, once you are done editing in the fusion, make sure the nodes are connect in a way that outputs it to the Media Out node. this is a common reason why effect is not playing in the edit page

hi, not sure if you will see my comment, but ill appreciate if you know an answer. I used to work with Vegas, however im not an expert, just edit as a hobby for my other yt channel. Now trying Da Vinci since it is free and it is really good so far. I would like to ask if there is a way to automate this tutorial. I mean, I want to do this for like 30 different text+ boxes in my edit and it will take me a long time. Thanks for your time and ill appreciate any answer here ^^.

hi, sorry if I didn't respond before. to automate this effect for future use, you can select this entire flow and right click, go to settings and then save this entire thing as a file. you can reuse this in the future by simply dropping the file in fusion. hope this helps!

hi Yorel, great question. I made a video actually about this topic not too long ago, it's called how to change color for multiple words using just 1 text node. feel free to check it out. essentially you will need to access character level styling.
