@@vossboss220 spore can totally work for plant type Pokémon. Although it’s not the case. Any Pokémon that can produce pollen should be fine with doing spore since allergies from pollen attacks the nervous system. I would be happy to see a ground type Pokémon have a paralysis move solely because dust particles causes so many cases of cystic fibrosis. Or even illness being a new type of status effect.

I’ve been running Lava Plume on my Torkoal. It gives Typhlosion flash fire boost for the second turn as long as Torkoal makes its move. I just run Charcoal on my Typhlosion though.

The damage of 2 overheats is roughly the same as flamethrower so its a bit situational but the accuracy bites me. Im the kind of guy to miss 3 straight pyro balls and start considering flare blitz

Typhlosion is great for sun team, thanks to boost to its fire moves and access to solar beam to beat water pokemon. Sad part is - power creep. It relies on either choice specs or choice scarf. But still i love this pokemon.

Its so nice regular typhlosion is actually good for once. It basically had the regieleki problem, it’s really good, but has piss poor coverage options. Having shadow balls, on regular typhlosion not just the hisuian one, is huge! That and terastalization giving it a second option if you want it, oh thats huge! Like seriously, before this the only other special coverage moves that were even remotely usable were solar beam which needed sun, focus miss, hyper beam and its mandatory nap time, mediocre swift, and extrasensory if you bred one to have it, which was actually just a good option. Like it’s had such terrible coverage for so long, so glad it finally has a chance to shine, with or without its new form!

Feraligatr has a lot of nice things going for it already, sheer force + dragon dance + decent offenses + good bulk + best monotype + wide physical move pool to pair with DDance. It's just that... Feraligatr is a water type.... and there is a LOT of competition out there for waters. I'm sure there's some movepool additions it could get that would give it a nice buff, but it has more going for it than most starters and has had its time in the sun.

The trick that's difficult to pull off is that you want to give it meaningful buffs, but you don't want to give it some crazy moves that are normally balanced around being on bad pokemon. Maybe feraligatr with close combat or ice spinner would be cool.

For me the fire sweeper is armouruge with drought torkoal Set up torkoal put enemy sleep so it forces to switch and after that switch to armouruge you can use choice Spec or scarf and terastelize fire and hit him with armor Cannon that damage is Mamamia

You forgot to mention the big thing about making it grass, Flash fire Typhlosion is immune to fire so it trades it's ground and water weaknesses for basically only flying since it hits bugs and ice types super effectively
