Typhon Mountain (in-game version) - God of War 2 Soundtrack

This is the first in-game version of the first half of OST track "Typhon Mountain". It plays when first arriving at the Typhon level (after Pegasus gets trapped).
The first half of Typhon Mountain has a number of other in-game versions. There is a less intense version that plays during the gorgon fight inside Typhon's cavern. Another version plays when returning to the Hand Cavern after acquiring Rage of the Titans. A drums-only version plays much later in the game when exiting the Phoenix Chamber.
This song also plays in Chains of Olympus during a minotaur fight in the Caves of Olympus, and in one of the fights in the Temple of Persephone.

@@prime13th Yeah okay raccoon, You realize there was meant to be three games representing Norse mythology but since the director was leaving, everything was rushed. And most of the new characters didn't express enough humanity. To make them memorable as they're unforgettable. Yet Odin is stronger than Zeus, and he had the least screen time of battle scenes and the final fight compared to all the other boss fights. They purposely missed out on potential characters that had a huge impact on Ragnarok, which is vioarr the God of vengeance, Idun, Njord, and Ullr. if Odin was Tyr the whole time. Then why didn't he stop Ragnarok if the characters were discussing a plan to flatline Heimdall? Since he was holding the thorn? And the representation of Ragnarok was very weak. And everyone is disappointed about it as it didn't affect all the realms but it only affected one. According to Norse mythology, it's guaranteed to affect everything. Besides the Phoenix rebirth made Kratos 50 times stronger at the end of God of war 3 and we barely get to see how it made him stronger, even though it's cool that he keeps destroying multiple prophecies every time he wakes up. Now where back to, It's always about him holding back, holding back holding back which is so boring! Now you want to talk about this statement isn't correct? Tear me a freaking river.

@@Oneisover ok buddy let's be real here, even if i love it I'm not calling a masterpiece it definitely has flaws especially the final part of ragnarok was rushed. While yes I'm disappointed that I wasn't a trilogy, I can at least accept the fact thats what Santa Monica wanted and they managed to at least pull it off in a satisfying way. It's incorrect because the Greek & Norse games are completely different games with different directions, therefore it's unfair to compare the two. And Ragnarok was far from fucking wasted potential. Also it comes off as if you think the greek games are better than the Norse ones. If you like the Greek era better, great good for you but don't push 2018 & Ragnarok down just because it wasn't like the previous games. I really hate fans that don't wanna let go of the old titles & move forward with the franchise. There's a reason why Santa Monica shifted gears for 2018, after Ascension came out people we're tired & needed something new. I'm not a dickrider, I just know if it was a good game or not & had low expectations. Jesus Christ man it's not that serious.
