Living Mythology is an attempt to entertain, relax and educate all in the one place. We are trying to forge narratives so that people can experience the religions and mythologies of the world as they were meant to be. Not as dry academic monoliths, but as living breathing tales and parables as experienced by the peoples who worshipped these beings, in an attempt to make sense of their own lives and the world around them.

All of the tales are taken from very conflicting traditions across many centuries, so there will be many a moment when decisions need to be made to create a more cohesive narrative. I like this version of Zeus, he is by no means good, not by our standards, buy he is absolutely understandable in his motives. He generally keeps everyone happy and things in order, he is no saviour of the world, but that makes sense for a ancient pagan god.

It is difficult to properly say how incredible these videos are. I have taken to the point of listening to one everyday when I work out or do chores around the house and they are amazing. I was really sick in the last year and nearly died and I will tell you you have helped me in my recovery. The voice work, the fleshing out of these sometimes one dimensional gods and goddesses and beings of myth. In the version, I was told since Typhon was defeated his first born, the three headed wolf Cerberus, was meant to free him and devour the gods, which is an interesting concept. Also while Tartarus while a primordial much like Gaia has immense power, he never wanted conflict and simply was one of the few impartial judges and the one who could imprison one and all who've broken laws. Apart from that, this version was beautiful, both you LB and Baldy are as always impecable in your preformances.

When I was a kid I loved the stories of the heroes and all the other stuff going on with these Greek mythologies but as I grew up I really lost a taste for it because it just seemed so twisted from what I thought the stories were about as a boy but I truly have to say these are my absolute favorite telling these stories they make even some of the craziest stories sound more human less a***** monster period I mean Hera and Zeus particularly seem to have more wisdom and knowledge that you would expect from people who are supposed to be rulers and not just crazy unbound psychopaths I have to say when my kids are old enough to understand these stories and be able to read them I want to introduce them through these stories that you have told

The only thing that would make your videos even greater were citing the sources for the narratives you present here, which versions of the myth you're presenting in which part - but I quess that would be quite complicated because there are so many different strands.
