I'm not really into a lot of gospel music, but I've been listening to Rance Allen since the 70's as a teen. Got a chance to see him in concert in my early 40's. One of the few whose music brings tears to my eyes. Rest in Power Rance.

It's weird. All these years that Rance had been alive, I rarely gave his music much attention or appreciation, sadly. But recently, after looking at a listing of some songs that made noise on black R&B/Hip-Hop radio in 1991, I got exposed then to this classic (although I'm realizing I most likely DID hear this too when I was younger and didn't appreciate it)!
