I'm a member of the COGIC for all my life, born and raised. I was a member of the mass choir during this recording in Houston, Texas in July 1986. This was an exciting time every year to attend the UNAC convention (United National Auxiliary Convention) held every year in July. However the convention is now called AIMS (Auxiliary in Missions) still held every July. The recordings take place on Saturday Night at the end of the week. The choir rehearsals where AMAZING and anointed, i witnessed SO MANY PEOPLE give there lives to JESUS Christ during the rehearsals.....so many times we rejoiced, shouted, danced and praised GOD during rehearsals because the POWER OF GOD would overshadow the entire rehearsal. Such great times we experienced and had.

I'm a young 26 year old from the U.K and I play bass at church and these types of music from Twinkie and the mass choir speak to my SOUL! The anointing really is there. I got a question - how was the overall experience? How often did you guys rehearse and most importantly - what was the lifestyle you all led , as I know well that we must live anointed lives submitting to Jesus if our music is ever going to touch the souls of others.
