1. Tyra is a person who has to grow and make mistakes and learn from them like anyone else. 2. Tyra owned up to what she could have done better, which I love. 3. That show was boundary pressing FOR THE TIME. TIMES HAVE CHANGED. (Thanks to the hardwork of people like Tyra!). Now we wanna look back and attack her. that's not necessary. 4. Tyra had to bridge gaps and its a tough position to be in. Extend Grace. Sheesh.

But some things she didnt HAVE to do to have a successful show. She didn't HAVE to exploit these girls trauma for instance, she didnt have to constantly FAVOR WHITE women over the black girls and sometimes dog the black girls out (Dani Evans for instance) she didnt HAVE to attention whore it up for the camera either....that one is slightly more forgivable...but it was annoying af. She also didnt HAVE to cosign abuse "You're a model, this is A PUBLICIST, PHOTOGRAPHER, DIRECTOR they can treat you anyway they want and you better take it or else"....that's what I believe people are calling out. And for the record I thought Tyra was problematic waaaay back before these clips resurfaced lol

I was a big fan of the show in the early seasons, and Tyra is absolutely right. The show was really about inclusiveness and diversity. There were many missteps and the show has not aged well. I'm glad that Tyra can admit her faults and recognize the error in her ways.

I’m so disappointed in Tyra’s dishonesty. You say you did this for race exposure. You did this for money and to add something to your career. But you tried to break the girls not abeauty barrier in the modeling interest. You changed woman every season at the beginning and sends them home after she changes their look.

Tamron is one of the most beautiful woman alive! Tyra is making up excuses to be mean. I used to be a model and the industry is like her show. She could’ve been a real pioneer and left the industry and done her own show. She had enough money and a name.
@lichi1244eva4 жыл бұрын
1. Tamron Hall is stunning and that dress is 🔥🔥 2. Tyra the tyrant is still a megalomaniac who won't take responsibility for her actions during ANTM. And most of those models she claims to have groomed for success barely worked after the show so stop it. Very few of the winners walked top runways or landed high-fashion work afterward. It was a reality show, nothing more.

@@nicky5684 respectfully, as a woman/boss/leader, Tyra could and should have been more empathetic to her contestants. Instead, she publicly demoralized many of them for their natural appearance (Dani), their past (Angelea) and shut them down when they themselves were assertive (Yaya). I know that made for good TV but that isn't ok. I don't dispute that women bosses and leaders deserve the grace and slack we grant to their male counterparts; however, Tyra, in my opinion, is not the best example. Love and light to you, too!💛

@5:09 onwards, Tyra Banks said that modelling agents were informing her of the contestants they were interested by from the show, and I’m assuming the modelling agents are from the agencies who were part of the prizes for the winner of _America’s Next Top Model._ So I guess out of these models who were selected as the favourites of these agents, one who would eventually be the winner. Then Tyra talked about fixing their teeth and hair _on_ the show because the modelling agents advised that would be beneficial towards them being chosen to be represented by their agency, and that Tyra would’ve told them in hindsight to help “improve” these models in the way they saw fit after they _WON._ Danielle Evans, winner of _America’s Next Top Model_ Cycle 6, had a gap in her teeth worked on during the show, and also had a drastic hair makeover as well... 🤔

Lolo Future I saw a episode of top model and she really yelled at Tiffany for not crying. It was clear she was sad and mad she even said she was mad inside she used to go to anger management. She tried to cheer up the other girls and make them happy even if she was sad herself. And Tyra shouted at her. Like what the hell? It doesn’t matter if you cry when your sad your still sad and crying doesn’t always mean your sad either. She tried to contain her emotion.
