Audio is desynced, which makes the wide shots feel weird, besides that the editing is really good and makes for a nicely paced Battle Report.

Assimilation Swarm's big thing is how much healing it gets. Did I miss it, or did you not mention what units you healed and for how much, each turn?

It's so crazy to me how an army like Custodes can go from being one of the top factions in the competitive sphere to one of the absolute worst due to a single balance pass. See also AdMech, Dark Eldar and Squats. I wish GW would let someone else write the rules but that will never happen because the rules are written primarily to push model kits with balance being second.

I don't think they needed the points nerf COMBINED with all the other nerfs they recieved directly or indirectly. Just getting rid of the 10 bricks and the free fights first would have been enough imo. It is what it is though, we'll see what happens in January.

Man I feel you, pre balance patch 'nyds felt in a really good place... but now (even with the new detachments) it's an uphill struggle unless you're bringing spamming neurolictors, norns, rippers or a biovore every game

Great battle report as always! A question for Craig but how do you honestly rate 'nyds internal balance at the moment? I ask because (as a casual player) I'm getting pretty disillusioned with our bugs right now... three neurolictors seems the crux of every list atm if we want a chance at killing anything, and I feel like I'm going crazy with the amount of folk dismissing it with either "it's fine, deal with it", "'nyds are a scoring army" or "'nyds have never been killy". I don't wanna sound whiny because in the end it's just a game, and things are always changing, but the way our army plays right now feels real bad for casual games😔 Granted taking a thematic list over a completely min-maxed one is always gonna be somewhat inefficient... but my friends aren't bringing pure meta either and they don't suffer from a fraction of the problems we do. A large part of the issue is our only anti-armour in a vehicle heavy edition are zoanthropes or the tyrannofexes... and I have had far too many games where the tyrannofex has taken four turns to kill one tank for it to be worth 245 points. (Hilariously, last game I played I had two trygons in combat with a leman russ each, and each one was losing the melee fight lmao) Sorry for the rant but I feel like if the next dataslate doesn't come with serious points drops for us that I'm gonna dip out until things change for the better. I'm not asking for Eldar tier datasheets here either... I just don't wanna have to choose between sweating my ass off in games that are supposed to be about beers and dice with the homies or becoming the group punching bag for this edition.

Yeah nids struggle to do dmg, don't let anyone tell you any different. Exocrines are pretty much the only elite killing ranged weapons we have. We score well but it feels like the skill floor is higher than what most casual players would like.

Do a guide with Drukhari please. They are so cheap with a lot of quick units and vehicles combo with dark lances spam. My monsters and elite units can't stand a chance against them.

Thanks for the video! Sorry but will this roster be okay against AM? I like the concept, but I don't know how it will be against the shooting faction.

I've had success, but it depends on the terrian. If you play with a decently dense board where you can hide, then it should do well.
