This was a fun watch ! A few mistakes were made, some fair (putting the HT reroll 1s on the raveners who already have it innately; we've all done it), some bad (Raveners can't adrenal surge, they don't have the adrenal glands kw; always double check your keywords !)

Yeah we noticed the adrenal glands thing after the game but left it in anyway... luckily it didnt make much difference as the average results came through... might have made a difference if the raveners had killed the babycarrier... but i was then punished for my enthusiam by being half an inch out for a 5++ on the raveners... The HT re-rolls was just for the crack, cos wasnt worth it on anything else lol... i do this stuff all the time... its so i remember to do the buffs even when i have no need for them... the more i do them the more it sinks in

@@ekimnevets8541 All true, I have a fondness for raveners since I've painted mine back then. And I guess it's better to make a mistake and risk being scolded by your opponents (or an overeager viewer) than forgetting your buffs half the time ! For the swarm ! Thank you for your answer.

There is a lot of fanfare about GK TDA and AoC, but in essence GK struggle vs speedwaaagh let alone T7/8 2/3+. NDK variants are nerfed into AoC so the shooting output in general is very poor. Combat weapons wounding on 5s and -1D prevalence doesn't help either. Tyrants denying 2, whereas grandmasters and librarians only denying one is awful in combination vs 3D6 +x to cast and GK -1 to cast in shadow of the warp. Its terminal in every phase with only one conclusion. But nice short format game and good effort.

This was fun but looking at nids stuff just makes me mad. It does what? How many points does that cost? It auto hits? I accept broken codex on release is the norm and at this point I feel bad if your army wasn't op on codex release but my brother in christ did the bugs get pushed. Why is everything so good? Why cant it fail a phychic test, it has a 3 up invuln I CANT EVEN KILL THE WIZARD BUGS. great stuff though loved the condensed format.

Hive Tyrants, exocrines and Tfexes are looking really strong in 9th. The +1 toughness relic for you’re warlord from hive fleet Gorgon makes Hive Tyrants T9 🦖💪😬 the amount of heavy venom cannons you can have in a list hitting on 3s is an alarming amount

@@samuelfry8192 sadly i only have 3 tyrant guard built and painted... i have one old one too, but not put it together (was an old rescue from a job lot i picked up)... Was planning of running the swarmlord because people think he's not as good now... i think hes actually even better than he was... just less obvious than the double move

You cant do adrenaline surge on raveners as they cant take adrenal glands!!!

Yeah we realised this AFTER the game... but left it in for the eagle eyed to pick out 🤣 Luckily it didnt change the outcome and my slightly out of position raveners being literally like 1/8 of an inch out of 6" of the trygon prime (i didnt double check myself) meant i was punished for my mistake 👌🏻

@@ekimnevets8541 More Eagle Eyeing: You forgot to take a Battleshock test with the Raveners, they were outside of 6" synapse and lost 3 models. At Ld5 that probably would've caused more casualties. 18:18 Empyric Amplification is a Malediction that targets an enemy unit, not a friendly unit. Didn't go off, but anyway.

Thanks, i tried to tone down my list so it wouldnt walk over the GK.... unfortunately, the nids still that bit too much. Didnt help that Darren played a little too cagey this game in fear of the bugs (and rightly so tbh)
