And just it being posted I believe is a violation which is why most people that do record when they catch citizens personal information they don't have it in the video or they redacted or blur it. But if you're talking about personal information of the public officials that information is not personal when they are on duty

It is the officer's responsibility to take individuals to a private setting to discuss private information and if it's up on their computer or on paperwork in their vehicle they are trained to close their computer or flip over paperwork to make sure that they do not disclose personal information meaning if they are leaving it open or making it available to anyone that can hear or see it without a camera even then they are committing a crime by not doing their job right by not following that duty to protect that information which is misconduct in public office when any government official paid by tax dollars does not do or refuses to do a clear-cut duty of their job they are guilty of misconduct in public office which is a felony offense in every state I have looked it up in so far. And if the cameraman knows what he's doing he would have it documented and cut out where the information is actually legible in his video so he is not the one that's closing that and violating the law.I believe it is a crime to share people's personal information that could lead to identity theft but it would also be a criminal violation for the police who left it open and available when they have a duty to protect that information.
