The Black Actor is French Body Builder Sergie Nubret, the original 'Black Panther' who inspired Marvel Comics Stan Lee back in 1966 thru 1970 with the Black Panther Avenger superhero.Sergie was a friend & mentor to Governor & Body Building legend, Arnold Swatcheneggar, a friend to Steve Reeves, and multiple Mr. Olympia, Mr. Universe, Mr. Europe, and Mr. World Body Building Championships througout the 1960s' and early 1970s'. RIP Mr. Nubret who passed in 2011. Of Course, Gordian is protrayed by ex-1950s thru 1960 Tarzan, Gordon Scott, The "Biggest Chest of all Tarzans", who made may Peplum Ancient History films in Europe during the 1960's. **Lydia in ancient times was a predeccesor to the Persian Empire, Cousins, if you well. However, their Empire lasted a few hundred years. Great film depicting the Lydian Empire, who most powerful king was Croesus

Megara and Hercules had three sons (though some sources claim eight children): Therimachus, Deicoon, and Creontiades. the total kids was 8 just for the record..no only one son

There's about 4 characters in this film who are honorable people. The rest, are all various levels of deviousness, deceit and corruption. The king of the city is an IDIOT, doesn't know who to trust, and has no idea how to treat women. His right-hand man spends all his time lying and scheming, and his "business partner" is EVEN WORSE. Yep, a typical Italian muscle-man epic. Gordon Scott's a favorite of mine. He was WAY better in these films than he was as Tarzan!!

They showed this on TCM a few months ago during a Sword and Sandal Fest...it's pretty entertaining and I think it's Massimo Serato's meatiest role. He did a lot of these peplum movies but this probably one of his biggest roles, as the satrap of Lydia. This is another Irv O. Neil Comment from the Fringe...

Picture jumps because of image stabilization. Can't you just look at the video, see what you are doing wrong. Stop ruining movies by screwing them up. Maybe you could re-post better, no stabilization. Could have been good to watch. Thumbs Down for sure.

When they put in a character so evil & cruel as in this case (and most other Hercules movies) that the good guys couldn't possibly defeat him/her It ruins the movie totally! I can't even finish watching it. What a waste of film!
