First off, RESPECT to CHI. I'm a native NYC resident. We had a scene honestly comparable. We didn't have a name, so we just danced. First heard about the term "House Music", from an Ex who lived in Chi, and I read a article in Spin Magazine. Not to fast forward too much, but Jungle Wonz, Chip E, and of course MJ did it for US, on the dance floor of NYC, and NJ. I still have this vinyl. Will NEVER toss it, but this never rocked at any club in NYC, or NJ. Never at primetime. Vocals were HORRIBLE, beats sounded like The Soul Sonic Force - 5 years later! Still, I keep my copy and again. give proper respect to a hometown song that brings MAJOR memories to those in the CHI, that LIVED and LOVED that song. Oh..and yeah..I'm hella older know living in a rural place, but I still "FEAR THE NIGHT" ✌💥💯

I'm from NYC as well. I had this record too but only played it when I made a tape. In NYC, Master C&J, Liz Torres, Mr Fingers, Blake Baxter. Reese and Santonio, etc were played at the clubs.
