QBs touch the football each play.....but they hand it off 40% of the time and disappear from the play. Another 20% are probably thrown at or 5 yards from scrimmage. Touching it every play doesn't mean much.

Dioen Sanders is the best corner cornerback in NFL history. He has never been considered the best player in any season when he has played. Same thing with Jerry Rice. Same thing with Barry Sanders. When I gear best player, I'm not thinking they mean a specific year.
