In terms of ghost writers, there is a HUGE difference in singers and rappers. When you are a singer, your talent is your vocal ability. When you are a rapper, your talent is to put words together in a creative and skillful manner. If you are a rapper they don't write your own rhymes, you are replaceable and the number of people that can easily do what you do goes up tenfold. Great singers are hard to duplicate.
