One thing I feel Tyrion could have needed is some more visual allusion to his fairy tale inspiration, or at least a line calling back to it. He's based on the fable of the scorpion and the frog, where a scorpion has to not sting a frog order to cross a river. Halfway across, the scorpion stings the frog, and says "I am sorry, I could not resist. It is my nature" Maybe if Tyrion had a reputation for stabbing former allies in the back, and his fight with Qrow was less "minion of salem fighting one of Ozma's lackeys", it was instead a battle between former allies. An exchange could go like this. Qrow: "you betrayed us, right when we needed you the most! They trusted you, and you sided with Salem?!?" Tyrion: "what else would you expect, Branwen? It's simply my nature"

I love these ideas. It would make their rivalry even more personal and give an interesting insight into what it's like to be a soldier in this never-ending war. Maybe Ozma/Ozpin fessing up and telling Tyrian the whole truth shattered his faith in the cause, and that's why Oz keeps so many secrets from RWBY in the present. He tried the honest approach before, and it blew up in his face with Tyrian.

Tyrian's White Fang like aesthetic is especially odd considering that he openly dislikes the WF. I kinda wish that his color scheme was more purple, since his name is in fact a shade of purple

Also if you just look up his name in Google, there is a color called Tyrian Purple. Literally a missed opportunity. Plus it'd be a cool visual since he literally uses venom against his enemies and what makes venom, venom is that it's injected into you and travels in your veins and blood vessels, slowly killing you. A bright purple vein pattern would also be a parallel to dangerous animals and creatures in real life that are poisonous or venomous and also have bright colors to show that you don't want to bother this animal. Or in Tyrian's case, Danger! Don't fight this dude! You will not have a good time! 😂

I get the feeling Tyrian was supposed to foil Blake(Faunus, Primarily White Color in outfit, Aura, & Poison are purple as well as his Namesake) and despite them never meeting I wish they would lean more into that in his design? Why put him in overwhelmingly Brown & White with black accents when you could mirror Blake’s [should be] Primarily Black, with White & Purple accents by dressing Tyrian in primarily White with purple & black accents? Idk

If you wanted to flesh out some of the background of the setting, you do a lot by saying Tyrian's outfit actually is a White Fang uniform. Either he joined up when the organization was getting more murderous, or Salem put him in one to help make their public image more violent.

I did rewrite and redesign where I made him look more like a priest. team RNJR first meet him when they're on a boat thinking he's just some harmless fawnus who is denied passage because of his race and stand up for him. Then in the middle of the trip Tyrion attacks them . This is a nod to his Fable in which a frog help the Scorpion across the river but the scorpion attacks the frog in the middle of the journey because killing is so ingrained in the Scorpion's nature that it becomes self-destructive.

In one of Unicorn of Wars videos on RWBY in the comments someone joked on how Ruby assuming Tyrian was a White Fang member was her profiling him. It was funny but in Ruby's defense given how Tyrian dresses and the fact he's a faunas attacking them, she had plenty of reasons to make that assumption.

Tyrian much like Hazel is a character whose design actually looks better with the coat, but lacks when it’s removed. As there clothing underneath just feels so plain and lacking. His weapon a vershion of a Katar do work wonderfully though. They resemble a par of pincers. Yet also work functionally too. As Tyrian has room to use his semblance then quickly follow it up with a slash to his exposed opponent. With some added guns for good measure. The scars also add a good element. Ether showcasing the past gruesome battles he’s had. Or the possibility that he’s so into death and destruction he does it to himself just for kicks. I do agree though. Adding some purple to showcase his poison traits could work. Or maybe yellow to match his eyes. Another option would be to add some segmented plate armor to go even further into his animal part. Giving him a chitin like exoskeleton.

So obviously there are evil fanus that have little to nothing to do with the white fang, but I wished we knew more about tryians backstory, especially with him bring a faunus. Also probably a unpopular opinion, I don't mind him being a qrow enemy or even a lokey rjnr enemy, but I would have really loved if tryian eventually became a yang and Blake enemy. The enemy who specifically tried to hunt down ruby for yangs motive, and proactive a faunus related enemy that is different, yet extremely dangerous as adam for Blake, understanding that there are dangerous fanus like adam that have nothing to do with the white fang that could be part of the reason people fear and despise fanus. But that's just my unpopular opinion
