Tyrian - Tyrian the Level Rock Remix (Data Flux)

So I'd decided to give this remix another once over. The production and arrangement have both had tweaks as I felt the last version just didn't sound the way I had originally envisioned. I decided to experiment with a new video too. Being someone who is rather camera shy I've taken the plunge and tried out featuring myself in one of my videos for once. I hope you enjoy and thank you for taking the time to watch/listen.
General Blurb:
Tyrian is one of my all-time fave PC games. Many hours were spent playing the shareware version as a child. The soundtrack for the game is fantastic. The composer, Alexander Brandon, is best known for writing the music for Unreal Tournament, Jazz Jackrabbit and Deus Ex. Tyrian may not be as well known but is just as amazing.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video. This one was certainly enjoyable to make. Also, if this gives you the urge to play Tyrian, then just Google it and find a download. The game is now open-source and so free for all to enjoy. GOG.com have a version for free which includes dosbox so there's no need to fiddle around in order to get it to work on Windows!

I used to love this game as a child. I still do, despite some tricky levels. I used to play it with a friend who unfortunately passed away some years ago. We only played a fraction of the game, as it was sold in parts then. We said we would finish it one day, but never got the chance to. After that, I learned it was released for free by Epic Megagames, and I went back and finished it. Amazing music.
