Honestly I was always bigging up woodley as the p4p #1 ww of all time up until the Usman fight, ever since he joined TMZ, started rapping, and promoting everything outside the octagon his performances reflected that. Congratulations to him building a career outside of the octagon, but if he really meant it when he said he wants to be the greatest WW of all time he needs to go out and get it. Beating Covington would put him right back in the fold. I say he should beat Covington, beat Leon Edwards, then Win his throne back from Kamaru he will go down as the GOAT WW. Easy for me to type that, because Covington is a huge challenge, but if he gets it done he’s back on track

@@CalsVlogs george got clipped and proved that he was the better man easily the second time round but tyron has been figured out something that never happened to george All you have to do to beat tyron is throw a large volume of strikes and feints dont sit still To neutralise his right hand dip low and clinch or go for a takedown because tyrone is to stubborn to leave his comfort zone and he will continue to get dominated by this style of fighter
@TheLegacy87
@TheLegacy87 4 жыл бұрын
@@CalsVlogs The only common opponent they have is Jake Shields. You naming guys that aren't common opponents are irrelevant for comparisons. Jake pressured Tyron and he couldn't deal as usual. Gsp walked through Jake Shields. If they ever fought Woodley would get snipered with Georges long jab and out kick boxed. He'd easily get outworked like he always does also. The only reason GSP loss to Matt Sera is because he took him lightly. Trained serious the second time around and dominated him. I like Woodley but he's not in George's league. He'd make a good sparring partner though.

This matchup is pretty crazy, if you think about it. Covington is a madman out there, one of the most high-pressure fighters in the UFC. He doesn’t let up for a second out there, which might be his greatest attribute. He breaks guys down with his will to win. Woodley, on the other hand, is perhaps the guy at the furthest end of the spectrum. He’s gun-shy, looks to avoid the car crashes (as Justin Gaethje so eloquently describes contact in a fight), and basically just hopes for an overhand to present itself. Long story short, it looks like a very bad combination for Woodley.

I think you're in the minority here cause I see a lot of people liking the interview and engaging with some of the topics. But I would love to see Colby cause he's been acting a little weird on social media, all he's been talking about is what political stance a completely different sports organization is taking like the NBA or something. I really want to know what his mentality is about his position in the UFC right now.
